Theo Tammy Trần, cuộc đi bộ sẽ xuất phát tại báo Người Việt ở đường Moran lúc 8 giờ sáng Thứ Bảy 13-5, dài theo đường Bolsa. La Jolla – At 7pm this past April 12th, over 60 people assembled at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) to attend a Human Trafficking Symposium organized by the Vietnamese Student Association of UCSD.
Present to lead the symposium regarding Human Trafficking was Miss Tammy Tran, president and co-founder of VietACT – the Vietnamese Alliance to Combat Trafficking.

present The Vietnamese Video Music Awards (VVMA). The (VVMA) is
modeled after the MTV format. VVMA was created to showcase a balance between
traditional Vietnamese arts and culture and an Americanized upbeat style and
music. VVMA is organized also as an effort to reach out to those thousands of
South East Asian children, women, and men are being sold, tricked to foreign
countries for poor labor and at the same time torture and mistreatment. All
proceeds from VVMA will go directly to support a newly established organization,
VietACT.
