Orlando, FL- On April 1st, 2006, the Vietnamese American Student Association (VASA) of the University of Central Florida (UCF) hosted their second annual Black April Commemoration. There were approximately 70 students in attendance at this event. VASA started this event last year after seeing student activism in other VSA’s in the United States that had events in remembrance our fallen country and wanted to commemorate this history and life-changing event.

Taiwan-  A man who had been on a train that derailed, killing his wife, committed suicide after police revealed that he was a suspect in the case. One of the prime suspects in the sabotage that caused a recent train derailment -- who in a Hitchcock-esque twist was also the husband of the only woman who died in the incident -- hanged himself yesterday, police said.
