Event:  Human Race of Silicon Valley

Description:  VietACT/uNAVSA Team at Human Race of Silicon Valley On May 13th, 2006, the Volunteer Center of Silicon Valley is organizing the Human Race of Silicon Valley. This fundraising walkathon/race is an annual community event providing various non-profit organizations the opportunity to raise money for their programs and services. Started 27 years ago, the human race events are held throughout California, where walkathon/race participants fundraise money through individual pledges and then choose on race day a registered non-profit organization they want to dedicate their funds to. This year, VietACT is among the registered organizations, and under the Relay Against Trafficking campaign, VietACT collaborates with the Union of North American Vietnamese Student Association (uNAVSA) to encourage participation of Northern California VSAs and youth organizations in this event. Join the fight against human trafficking by choosing VietACT as the recipient organization. On race day, look for the VietACT banner to join our walking/running team.
